Abu'l-Fath Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar popularly known as Akbar , was the third Mughal emperor, who reigned from 1556 to 1605. He was the son of Nasiruddin Humayun and succeeded him as the emperor at the tender age of just 13.
