Our Story
Edulytic began with a classroom, a kitchen table, and one powerful idea: what if children could improve faster by learning from their mistakes — automatically?
Gunjan, a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Education and a Master’s in English, is the guiding force behind Edulytic. With years of experience as an educator and now teaching young children in Montessori classrooms, she’s seen firsthand how repetition, reflection, and encouragement can unlock true learning.
Her husband, Anurag, brings a different but complementary perspective. While preparing for competitive entrance exams years ago, he faced the challenge of mastering multiple-choice questions (MCQs) under timed conditions. What stood out was the absence of a tool to automatically isolate and review only the questions he got wrong. Instead, he had to manually track his mistakes — a time-consuming process that left him wishing for a better solution.
That wish resurfaced years later while tutoring their son in Grade 3. The same issue existed: students were repeatedly tested on everything, instead of focusing where they needed the most help. That moment became the spark for Edulytic.
In early 2025, their son Yuvraj’s Minecraft account was hacked after he was tricked into sharing a passcode. That account was unknowingly linked to a shared family drive containing sensitive documents. The breach led to immense emotional stress and exposed the family to the very real dangers of digital life. In the midst of this chaos, it was Yuvraj who offered the most thoughtful response: the idea to launch a “Cyber Smart” initiative through Edulytic—so kids could learn digital safety early on. Today, Yuvraj actively contributes by writing content and blogs that help his peers stay safe, aware, and empowered online.
Their daughter, Leesha, plays a vital role too—she helps test Edulytic’s content from a learner’s perspective, ensuring it’s engaging, age-appropriate, and effective.
Today, Edulytic is a free, focused, family-built platform that combines smart academic practice with vital life skills — like sustainability and digital safety — to help kids grow with confidence in a digital world. They also gratefully acknowledge the early support of friends who contributed to the vision. Edulytic is evolving, but the mission remains: to make learning smarter, more personalized, and truly impactful.
